As a “non-practicing” christian, I have been gathering knowledge of; cultivating my perceptions of and calculating my position in the sea of religious righteousness and smothering piety of our religious institutions and their laws. I have lived in several countries and have participated in several forms of religious worship during my tenure on this temporary habitat we call earth. I have yearned for a religious faith that would allow me to fly in the face of human ignorance. I have just recently come to know about and have taken the opportunity to read about the Baha’i religion. I see freedom! I like it. For once in my life, I feel I have found what has always been missing in my belief system. Humanity is one family and we all believe in the same fundamental laws that are set forth in every “golden rule” religion on earth. I am looking forward to learning more.

I like the way you think. I too believe any religious person should understand their faith, whatever it may be, and realize that they should believe in the ‘law’ set forth by their faith. I especially like your analogy of the prayer police lol.

Brilliant. I fully agree, and there seems to be a change of thought in the Community as well. These thoughts were especially prevalent among the youth, but the atmosphere is changing now with the INstitute Process!
