If you’ve been wondering what I’ve been up to these past few weeks, I have four answers for you:

contributing to bahaikipedia

this last item is pretty interesting actually. you should check it out. you probably know of wikipedia, especially if you’ve read any high school or undergraduate research papers lately. well, bahaikipedia (haw haw) is essentially wikipedia all about the Baha’i Faith. it’s a growing project, meaning that it’s still pretty tiny and is badly in need of contibutions. I’ve been adding some basic information about the Canadian Baha’i community, including profiles of cities like Ottawa and Montreal. if you’re bedridden and have nothing else to do, or if you’re still healthy and have a little time left in your day after all your regular commitments are up, check it out, create your own account and see what you could add to it!

I’m so glad to see you’re back. And thank you for hte reference to bahaikipidia. It is very interesting. I’m hoping to leave some articles there in the near future.

For now, most of my time has been spent in raising my son (Shoghi), writing and public speaking. All mhy talks of late have touched on the concept of posi-genesis, the building up of positives rather than the fighting of negatives.

Oh, and I’m also finishing up a Ruhi Book 7, a RUhi Book 4, and just about to begin Book 1 with a number of friends. Should be exciting. They’re all new to the Faith, or from the Greater Community, and vey interested in action. have you ever noticed that the first quote in the whole sequence of courses is “The betterment of the world can be accomplished through pure and goodly deeds, through commendable and seemly conduct”? This syas it all: if your ideas don’t result in action, what good are they?

And for myself, action should always be about building things up, rather than tearing them down. it is far more effective to promote race unity than to fight racism. If you walk into a dark room and want to read a book, turn on the light. You won’t get far trying to remove the darkness.
