I’m a fan of the Canadian Baha’i News Service (CBNS). I was reading through archives recently and figured I might as well post up a few interesting articles for people to peruse, in order to encourage people to discover this excellent resource. Starting with some of the most recent, here are two articles relating to the persecution of Baha’is in Iran:
- Canadian Bahá’ís welcome UN resolution on Iran
- Plight of Bahá’ís raised with Parliamentary Sub-Committee on Human Rights
Here’s one about an article in the Globe and Mail that cites the Bahá’í Faith:
Here’s a neat bio about Louise Profeit-Leblanc, an aboriginal Bahá’í living in Wakefield, Québec (that’s just across the river):
Here’s an article about Bahá’í Schools in Ottawa:
Aaaaand here’s one about neighbourhood children’s classes, including references to Ottawa and photos (hmmm… who’s that guy with the moustache and glasses?):
The guy with the mustache and glasses is Weird Al Yanchovic, or his look alike.
