g’day, mates

I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome the large Australian contingent among the visitors to doberman pizza. Glad to have you. 🙂 However, I am somewhat confused as to how I suddenly got so big in Australia. If you’re reading this and you’re from Australia, could you tell me how you found out about this site?

In other news, don’t forget that this weekend (specifically, Sunday, August 8th) there will be a big auld picnic at Riverain park (aka River Road park), on the Vanier side of the Rideau River, beginning at 11 AM. It will be a potluck lunch and there will be BBQ for anyone wishing to bring their own meat (or, as my Australian friend says, “whack a chook on the barbie”). There will be activities for all ages and plenty of fun. For more info, check your Ottawa Bahá’í Newsletter.

And in other (personal) news, I’m endeavouring to translate my resumé/CV this morning. For those of you who’ve noticed, my “portfolio” isn’t complete – I only have my CV up to date in french. It makes sense, given that I’ve been living in Québec for two years. Anyway, gotta get to work. Holla back. One love.
