I talked with the institute coordinator for the province of Quebec tonight. we ran down what sort of study circles have been going on in the past three months. she was really excited to hear that there has been so much activity in our cluster – what with an intensive course in Ruhi book 3 going on right now in Victoriaville, and two Book 2 circles already finished, and a non-intensive Book 3 circle in the works. That really is good. I’m glad to have been a part of it, and grateful. Every now and then I need to remind myself (or be reminded) that the stuff I’m involved in is not just peanuts. It’s very important work, hard work yes, but very important work that’s highly regarded and appreciated. No matter what happens from this moment on, I know of a certainty that my time out here has not been wasted. Now, on a personal note, all I really need is to figure out a way to serve better — adapt my service to the natural conditions of my life — so that I don’t end up getting severely injured, going insane or killing myself from overwork.
Let’s go to bed now, and dream thoughtful, restful, and useful dreams.
